After His Resurrection, Jesus ascends into Heaven before His disciples, promising the coming of the Holy Spirit and opening the gates of eternal life to humanity. “And the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God.” (Mark 16:19)

Fifty days after the Resurrection, the Holy Spirit descends upon the Blessed Virgin Mary and the apostles gathered in prayer. Filled with divine fire, they are strengthened to proclaim Christ to the nations. "And there appeared to them parted tongues as it were of fire, and it sat upon every one of them: and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:3-4)

Fourth Glorious Decade

Grace of a Holy Death and Hope of Heaven

The Assumption of Mary

At the end of her earthly life, the Blessed Virgin Mary is taken body and soul into Heavenly glory. The Mother of God, preserved from sin and perfectly united to her Son, is brought into the fullness of eternal life. "A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun." (Apocalypse/Revelation 12:1)

Fifth Glorious Decade

Trust in Mary's Intercession and Final Perseverance

The Coronation of Mary

ScriptureRevelation 12:1; Luke 1:46-55; Psalm 45:9-17

Grace to askTo live with humility, fidelity, and confidence in Mary's maternal care.

After being assumed into Heaven, the Blessed Virgin Mary is crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth by her Son, Jesus Christ. The humble servant of Nazareth now reigns beside the King of Kings, interceding for the Church and all her children. "And a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars." (Apocalypse/Revelation 12:1)
