Meditation conclusion

Meditation Conclusion Prompt

Remain in the silence of the mystery for one more moment before moving on.

Take a slow breath and contemplate the glory of the Mother of God entering the eternal presence of the Blessed Trinity. See the joy of Heaven welcoming the humble handmaid who said "yes" to God completely. Mary's Assumption is a sign of hope: body and soul are made for glory in Christ. What is the one grace, word, or image God desires you to carry with you from this mystery?

Optional closing prayer

Optional Closing Prayer

End the meditation by entrusting the grace of the mystery to Mary.

O Blessed Virgin Mary, assumed into Heaven body and soul, draw my heart toward eternal things. Teach me to live in purity, humility, and faithful obedience to God. May your maternal intercession strengthen me to persevere in grace until I too may share in the glory of your Son. Queen Assumed into Heaven, pray for me. Amen.
