Each mystery page also serves as the dedicated decade page for that part of the Rosary.

First Luminous Decade

Openness to the Holy Spirit

The Baptism of Jesus

ScriptureMatthew 3:13-17

Grace to askTo live as a beloved child of the Father.

Jesus comes to the Jordan River to be baptized by St. John the Baptist. As He rises from the water, the heavens open, the Holy Spirit descends like a dove, and the voice of the Father proclaims: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:13-17)

Second Luminous Decade

Trust in Mary's Intercession

The Wedding at Cana

ScriptureJohn 2:1-11

Grace to askTo do whatever Jesus tells me.

Jesus attends a wedding feast in Cana with His Blessed Mother and His disciples. When the wine runs out, Mary intercedes quietly. Jesus performs His first public miracle by transforming water into wine, revealing His glory and strengthening the faith of His disciples. (John 2:1-11)

The Proclamation of the Kingdom

ScriptureMark 1:14-15; Matthew 4:17

Jesus travels through towns and villages proclaiming the Kingdom of God. He calls sinners to repentance, heals the sick, forgives sins, casts out demons, and invites all people to conversion and faith. Desire for Holiness

The Transfiguration

ScriptureMatthew 17:1-8

Grace to askTo listen to Jesus and be transformed by His grace.

Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain. There, before them, His appearance is transformed: His face shines like the sun and His garments become dazzling white. Fifth Luminous Decade

Love of the Eucharist

The Institution of the Eucharist

ScriptureMatthew 26:26-28; Luke 22:19-20

Grace to askTo receive Jesus with reverence, purity, and burning faith.

On the night before His Passion, Jesus gathers with His apostles in the Upper Room to celebrate the Passover. During the meal, He takes bread and wine, blesses them, and gives them to His disciples saying: "This is my body... This is my blood." In this sacred moment, Christ institutes the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood, giving Himself to the Church until the end of time. (Matthew 26:26-28; Luke 22:19-20)
