Remain in My Love

Sixth Sunday of Easter

The peace of Christ is not a fragile mood. It is the gift of His presence, teaching the Church to remain in love when life feels unsettled.

Scripture references

  • First Reading: Acts 15:1-2, 22-29
  • Second Reading: Revelation 21:10-14, 22-23
  • Gospel: John 14:23-29
Open official daily readings

Daily Oratory provides Scripture references and original reflections. It does not republish copyrighted readings.

Sunday gathers the scattered heart into the peace of Christ. The Lord does not promise a life without trouble; He promises a peace that comes from His presence.

To remain in love is not passive. It means letting the words of Christ dwell in the home, the parish, the difficult conversation, and the hidden place where anxiety grows.

Prepare for Mass by asking what peace Christ wants to give, and what fear He is asking you not to obey.

Reflection questions

  • What word from Christ do I need to keep this Sunday?
  • Where does my family or group need the peace of Christ?
  • What fear should become prayer before it becomes reaction?

Prayer

Risen Lord, give Your Church the peace that the world cannot give. Teach us to keep Your word and remain in Your love.
