Eucharistic devotion
Practice: ReverenceWatch for
Rushing through prayer or treating another person as an interruption.
A thought for today
Turn toward Christ with a willing heart. Let a quiet moment of reverence shape the way you meet the people and duties before you. A small act of attention can become a response of love.
A morning prayer
Jesus, draw my heart toward You in the Eucharist and teach me to make room for reverent attention. Help me receive the Church's prayer with gratitude and seek wise guidance about my sacramental life when needed. May the attention I offer You become patience with interruptions and charity toward the people I meet today. Amen.
One practical response
Spend a quiet moment in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament when possible, or make a brief prayer where you are.
Scripture reference: John 6:51
Church reference: CCC 1324
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven.
Douay-Rheims John 6:51 is the single sentence about the living bread. The following promise and flesh-for-the-world clause are Douay-Rheims 6:52; many modern editions combine these under 6:51. These records preserve Douay-Rheims numbering.

Prepare for a difficult moment
When this comes again
When: If I notice this struggle returning.
A possible response: Spend a quiet moment in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament when possible, or make a brief prayer where you are.
If this is difficult, I can seek support from a trusted person. I can hold that intention silently; no name is needed.
An optional intention, not a promise that temptation or distress will disappear. Only an explicit save keeps your existing choices.
Scripture for a next faithful step
13 Let no temptation take hold on you, but such as is human. And God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able: but will make also with temptation issue, that you may be able to bear it.

This passage is not a call to endure danger or distress without help. Seek safe, practical support when needed.
41 Watch ye, and pray that ye enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh weak.
